Want to learn more about drone technology and how this can be used to improve your farming operation? Come along to this practical workshop led by award- winning photographer and drone specialist Fiona Lake. ​

Fiona will be bringing along three different drones and include a demonstration on how to utilise this with cropping and livestock. This will include a newly purchased thermal drone.

The workshop will include a presentation that will bring you through drone basics, thermography, use of drones to muster and survey crops. It will also include practical information such as a checklist, pricelist and information sources that can be referred to post session.

​You will leave the session feeling informed about how you can incorporate this technology on farm and make good purchasing decisions.

About your presenter
Fiona Lake is a professional photographer, writer and book publisher who specialises in outback and rural photography.

She is a fully licensed drone pilot and Founder of Rural Drone Academy. Fiona has spoken at drone conferences around the world as well as run many drone workshops across regional and remote Australia.

​Fiona is a former local and grew up on a wheat and sheep farm just outside of Barham. She now resides in Townsville, QLD.
