Churchill Fellowship Program and Invitation to Albury Event

1 February 2018

Every year around 100 Australians are awarded a Churchill Fellowship. These Fellowships offer people from all walks of life the chance to travel independently anywhere in the world to explore a topic or issue of their choice, which they are passionate about and that will benefit their industry, profession or community on a local, regional and/or national level. Importantly, applicants do not need any specific qualifications to apply, and there is considerable flexibility in terms of timing and duration, to suit individual needs.

In 2018, the Churchill Trust is making a concerted effort to encourage more applications from rural and regional Australia. As part of this effort, they are running an expanded program of Information Sessions in sixteen regional centres, including Albury on Tuesday, February 20. A significant number of sponsored Churchill Fellowships are also being offered, including specific fellowships relating to education, health, agriculture, the environment and the arts.
