A fun community event on the banks of the Edward/Kolety River.

  • Welcome to Country around campfire at 11:00 am
  • Look at water bugs and fish larvae under a microscope
  • Demonstration of drones used to assess riverbanks and vegetation
  • DPI Fisheries monitoring and research display
  • Learn about turtle monitoring and conservation
  • Meet scientists and Kolety Werkul Rangers involved in river monitoring
  • Learn about Ramsar wetlands and environmental water
  • Hands-on water quality activity, and more!

FREE entry and FREE BBQ lunch and afternoon tea provided. Register to attend.
