A fun community event on the banks of the Edward/Kolety River.
- Welcome to Country around campfire at 11:00 am
- Look at water bugs and fish larvae under a microscope
- Demonstration of drones used to assess riverbanks and vegetation
- DPI Fisheries monitoring and research display
- Learn about turtle monitoring and conservation
- Meet scientists and Kolety Werkul Rangers involved in river monitoring
- Learn about Ramsar wetlands and environmental water
- Hands-on water quality activity, and more!
FREE entry and FREE BBQ lunch and afternoon tea provided. Register to attend.
