2021 COVID-19 BUSINESS GRANT


Status: Closes 11:59pm Friday 1 October 2021

Funding of up to $15,000 to provide support for businesses, sole traders or not-for-profit organisations that experienced reduced demand or had to close due to the COVID-19 public health orders.

SOCIAL SECTOR SUPPORT FUND


Status: EOIs close 5pm Friday 8 October 2021

for eligible charities and Not-For-Profits (NFPs) in the social, health, disability and animal welfare service sectors in NSW. The Fund aims to help these organisations continue to deliver services to the community amidst increased demand, and also retain their workforce through COVID-19 outbreaks. The Fund is targeted at organisations that are ineligible for the NFP JobSaver scheme and are experiencing an increased demand for services and/or a decline in income.

JOBSAVER


Status: Closes Monday 18 October 2021

Fortnightly payments to help maintain employee headcount (as at 13 July) and provide cash flow support to businesses. Applications open late July. The payment will be equivalent to 40% of the weekly payroll for work performed in NSW to a maximum of $10,000 per week.

2021 COVID-19 MICRO-BUSINESS GRANT


Status: Closes 11:59pm Monday 18 October 2021

A fortnightly payment of $1500 for NSW micro-businesses businesses, with a turnover between $30,000 and $75,000, impacted by COVID lockdown and restrictions while continuing to incur business costs.

COVID-19 TECHVOUCHERS


Status: Closes 5pm Friday 29 October 2021

Funding of up to $50,000 for technology-rich startups, scaleups or small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to collaborate with Publicly Funded Research Organisations (PFROs) to accelerate the commercialisation of innovative R&D products and services that address the many disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

SUPPORTING AUSTRALIA’S EXHIBITING ZOOS AND AQUARIUMS PROGRAM


Status: Closes 11.59pm Sunday 14 November 2021

The Program provides funding to eligible exhibiting zoos, aquariums and wildlife parks to maintain their animal populations where their tourism revenue has been affected by the travel and social distancing restrictions in place to limit the spread of COVID-19.

COVID-19 ABORIGINAL COMMUNITY RESPONSE GRANTS


Status: Closes 5pm Friday 19 November 2021

Grants of up to $10,000 are available to support Aboriginal communities across NSW to reduce their risk of being exposed to COVID-19 and enable them to manage the impacts of the pandemic. Grants can be used for social and emotional wellbeing support; keeping communities connected; responding to immediate needs and/or; advocacy and information.

SUPPORTING CINEMAS' RETENTION ENDURANCE AND ENHANCEMENT OF NEIGHBOURHOODS (SCREEN) FUND


Status: Closes 5pm Friday 24 December 2021

Grants of up to $85,000 to support independent cinema operators who have experienced significant declines in revenue due to COVID-19. It supports the viability and recovery of independent cinema businesses in an environment where they are still returning to normality as the vaccine rollout progresses and Australia moves towards higher audience capacities.

SME RECOVER LOAN SCHEME


Status: Closes Friday 31 December 2021

The Scheme enhances lenders’ ability to provide cheaper credit, allowing many otherwise viable SMEs to access vital additional funding to get through the impact of COVID-19, recover and invest for the future. The Government will work with lenders to ensure that eligible firms will have access to finance to maintain and grow their businesses.

Grants of up to $5000 to groups or organisations to support multicultural community groups lead and undertake targeted grass roots COVID-19 communication activities within their communities.

CREATE NSW COVID DEVELOPMENT GRANTS


Status: Closes Monday 31 January 2022

Targeted support of up to $10,000 for individuals and groups, impacted by COVID-19 restrictions, in the ‘small-to-medium’ arts and cultural sector in NSW in recognition of their role as important generators of cultural and artistic activity and crucial employers of artists across the state.

ARTS SUSTAINABILITY FUND


Status: Closes 11:45pm Tuesday 31 May 2022

Funding to support the arts and entertainment sector to continue its activities by providing necessary finance to plan a pathway for recovery from the effects of COVID‑19. Funding will support employment and contribute to rebuilding Australia's economy, as well as enhancing community wellbeing and access to cultural experiences across Australia.

RESIDENTIAL TENANCY SUPPORT PAYMENT


Status: Open

The residential tenancy support payment is available to eligible landlords who agree to reduce the rent of COVID-19 impacted tenants from 14 July 2021. You can currently only apply for amounts up to $3000. You'll be able to apply for amounts between $1,500 and $4,500 from 24 September 2021. Until then you can still make a claim for up to $3,000.

PANDEMIC LEAVE DISASTER PAYMENT


Status: Open

Support of $1500 a fortnight if you live in New South Wales and can't earn an income because you must self-isolate or quarantine, or are caring for someone with COVID-19.

THE ACTORS BENEVOLENT FUND OF NSW EMERGENCY COVID-19 ASSISTANCE


Status: Open

Financial support to help relieve pressure for members of the performing arts community during the COVID-19 crisis. Applicants must provide copies of invoices or receipts for expenses for which they are requesting assistance.

SUPPORT ACT COVID-19 CRISIS RELIEF GRANTS


Status: Open

Cash grants of $2,000 ($2,700 for families with dependent children) for music and performing arts workers to help pay the rent/mortgage, put food on the table, keep connected by paying power or phone bills, registering or servicing the car, paying medical expenses and so on.

COVID-19 DISASTER PAYMENT - NEW SOUTH WALES

A lump-sum payment of between $325 and $600 a week for people who lost work and income due to a New South Wales COVID-19 public health order.
