Biography:

Kylie King is the Chair of Regional Development Australia Murray, bringing extensive experience in civic leadership, strategic advocacy, and regional engagement. A former Mayor of Albury City Council, Kylie has served as Deputy Chair of the Riverina and Murray Joint Organisation (RAMJO) and recently completed her term as Chair of Regional Capitals Australia, where she led a national alliance of 20 regional cities.

Kylie has been a strong voice for regional communities, leading delegations to Parliament House, contributing to federal policy forums, and championing investment in infrastructure, liveability, and economic development. She is also a long-standing member of the Albury and Wodonga chambers of commerce and a founding member of Albury Wodonga’s Women in Chamber.

Outside of her civic duties, Kylie is a respected media presenter and public speaker. She is passionate about connecting people, building resilient communities, and creating opportunities for the Murray region to thrive.
