2024 Buronga Board Visit
2024 Buronga Board Visit
In April 2024, our Board was were honoured meet with local businesses, key community stakeholders, our colleagues from other RDA’s, and representatives from state and federal government to discuss issues key to the Wentworth Shire and Balranald communities.
Buronga Business Breakfast
RDA Murray was delighted to host local businesses and key community stakeholders for the Buronga Business Breakfast.
We met with a range of passionate local businesses, local & state government representatives, and community stakeholders to learn about the huge range of investments in the region, both taking place now and those in the pipeline. REMPLAN Director Nick Byrne, Department of Regions NSW Economic Development and Coordination Manager Hodi Beauliv, and Local Industry Participation Manager for Elecnor Australia Leaane Hawkins, explored the economic drivers in the region, investments from government and the private sector, and the opportunities impacting the local community.
Key to this discussion was exploring and understanding the challenges being faced and how to capitalize on these opportunities to achieve the maximum local and regional economic benefit. We look forward to working further with these important stakeholders on projects now and emerging in the future.
