In a national conversation increasingly defined by energy security, the Murray Region is not a bystander — it is infrastructure.

A Powerhouse in Two Acts

The Murray region generates 5.8 gigawatts of electricity today. Our development pipeline would nearly triple that, to almost 18. 

For seventy years, the Snowy scheme has anchored our east, delivering 4.2 gigawatts of hydro, built between the 1950s and 1970s, still among the largest generators in the country. That was Act One. 

Act Two is bigger, and already underway. It sees nine solar farms delivered in a decade, Snowy 2.0 under construction, and a pipeline of wind, solar and batter proposals stretching from Wentworth in the west to the Snowy Valleys in the east.
