Regional Development Australia Murray (RDA Murray) stands ready to support local government entities and not-for-profit groups to apply for up to $15 million in capital works funding available through the second round of the Australian Governments Growing Regions Program.

With applications for the program opening September 5, this program provides funding for large capital works projects that supports local amenity, boosts social cohesion, and enhances liveability in Australia’s regions.

RDA Murray Chair Mary Hoodless said, “the Growing Regions Program offers our region a great opportunity to benefit from federal funding for large capital works projects”.

“The Growing Regions Program is about investing in community infrastructure and delivering projects that improve liveability and respond to community needs and priorities”.

RDA Murray is available to provide letters of support for organisations applying for this program in the Murray region of NSW.

Mrs Hoodless says, “RDA Murray are excited about a new round of funding for regional projects, and the team at RDA Murray are ready to review and endorse the many worthy projects that would benefit our region”.

Organisations seeking a letter of support from RDA Murray are asked to contact the organisation at (02) 6060 2491 or team@rdamurray.org.au by Friday 20 of September, three weeks ahead of the October 10 deadline, to give time for full review of submissions.

Applications will need to meet the eligibility criteria in order to apply for this program.
