Up until the 2022-2023 Financial Year the NSW RDAs had been contracted by the NSW Government to assist processing of Skilled Work Regional visa (Subclass 491) applications which recognised our knowledge of local labour markets and business needs. All NSW RDAs, except for RDA Sydney, are also currently Regional Certifying Bodies for the Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional visa (Subclass 494) and RDA Orana also has an extended Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA) in place covering 5 of the RDA regions (being Orana, Southern Inland, Central West, Riverina and Murray).
