The Australian Women in Agriculture (AWiA) Conference is an annual national event that provides a platform for women across the agricultural sector to connect, learn, and empower each other. The conference includes two full conference days, local bus tours, a welcome networking evening and the gala dinner to celebrate 30 years of AWiA impact. It will take place in Albury Wodonga on 24-26 September 2024.

The recent challenging climatic events across Australia will make the 2024 conference a significant event on AWiA’s calendar not only celebrate those living and working in rural, regional, and remote Australia but also to support and assist women to grow after challenging times.

Key speakers and leaders in their field who are challenging the status quo and driving change will feature on the program. These speakers will provide a valuable mix of education, empowerment, connection, and networking. We will have a diverse audience including First Nations speakers and delegates, future agriculturalists and women from other culturally diverse backgrounds.

This year AWiA celebrates 30 years of impact! With attendees spanning the breadth of the nation, the conference promises a rich tapestry of insights, empowering stories, and collaborative discussions that reflect the vibrant nature of women’s contributions to agriculture.
