The Department of Home Affairs (DHA) is presenting an Australian Citizenship information session on June 25 for people in our region and will be covering a range of important topics related to pathways to citizenship, including:
- Citizenship by conferral pathways
- General eligibility requirement (residence, character, English language, citizenship test)
- Children-specific applications
- Citizenship for people aged 60 years or older, including incapacity & impairment provisions.
- Application fees
- Preparing for the test & test support
- Processing times & travel while processing
- Citizenship ceremony
- Responsibilities and privilege’s of citizenship
